Issues 2000
http://www.issues2000.org

You can search by US Representative or Senator, from any State, to scan their voting history and views regarding a myriad of issues from civil liberties to tax policies.  The information can be a tad dated, we note Codey is still listed as acting governor of NJ.  However for a free site, this is an excellent launching point into discovering your key players.

Public Access to Court Electronic Records
http://pacer.uspci.uscourts.gov

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information from Federal Appellate, District and Bankruptcy courts, and from the U.S. Party/Case Index.
Not all federal courts participate, it is important to check using the Coverage link to see if your intended jurisdiction is covered.  This helpful Nature of Service (NOS) glossary, http://www.pacer.uscourts.gov/natsuit.html, will make reading the index easier.

Editorial by Cynthia Hetherington of Aon Consulting

Welcome to the first issue of data2know.blog.com, formerly the Data2Know.com: Internet & Online Intelligence Newsletter.  With the data2know.blog.com we will continue our endeavor to educate our readers on the latest sources, services and best practices in the security and litigation profession.

As a technology and database review service, it is a natural fit to move into the new world of Web logs.  In this format we can better focus our attention on reading, reviewing and writing, and not on postal class, stuffing envelopes and administrative details that take our attention from content.

As we launch the Data2know.blog.com I welcome our new readers, and offer my warmest regard to those loyal subscribers of Data2know.

And as always…

Happy
Reading
